:heart: Hiya and welcome to XMireille-chanX's first Secret Santa event! :heart:

The holidays are fast approaching and I'd like to share some of the cheer to all my friends.

This is the first time I personally have done this, so bare with me.

:bulletred://What is Secret Santa?//

Secret Santa is an event where you draw art for one another, and get art back in return.
It's all anonymous until the day arrives to hand out the gifts and send your gift and receive your's from your Secret Santa.
Meaning you won't know who YOUR Santa is until the day arrives.
Making the wait for your gift exciting!

:bulletred://How do I join?//

Anyone can join. Just comment below with, "I'd like to join." or note me that you'd like to join and I'll add you to the list.
If there is someone you'd like to recommend to join my event, just send me a note with their username and I'll invite them to the event with a message that they were recommended for my Secret Santa event.


:bulletred://When do I get to know who I shall draw for?//

November 24th, I will organize and hand out who you will be Santa for.
This will be done with a random generator so you won't know who you'll be receiving.

:bulletred://When do I submit my wishlist?//

Anytime before November 24th.

:bulletred://Where do I submit my wishlist?//

Just make a journal with your wishlist, have a minimum of 3 things you'd like to have drawn for you.
This way to give your Santa some options.
You're welcome to have more, but note that only one of the things you wish for will be drawn.
Make sure to add in the journal somewhere that it's your wishlist for XMireille-chanX's Secret Santa Event.
Then, after you complete your wishlist, note me or post it in the comments to this journal, stating that this is your wishlist.
Make sure not to delete your wishlist or your Santa won't know what you want.
Also, do not change anything you wish for after November 24th in your wishlist.

:bulletred://When should I submit my gift?//

December 24th, you're welcome to give your gift. The final deadline for giving your gift will be January 5th.
This should give you plenty of time to work on your piece and get it to who it needs to.

:bulletred://HOW TO WRITE YOUR WISHLIST//

You can show up to 3 different characters you wish to be drawn. HOWEVER, keep in mind only ONE will be chosen by your Santa.
Do not be too picky about your outfits and the like. Let the artists have some freedom for the best result!

YOU MUST SHOW/LINK A REFERENCE. REFS ARE A MUST. AN ABSOLUTE. If you have no refs then make one before the SS event starts.

Place somewhere in your journal that your wishlist is for XMireille-chanX's Secret Santa Event.

:bulletred://GUIDELINES AS A SANTA//

Traditional/digital art is accepted.

Make sure you put effort and care into the art!
Everyone is trying their hardest, and I hope you are too!

Keep in mind that this event might have people wishing for their critters drawn and the like.
If you are uncomfortable with something, please mention it to me and I will make adjustments.

It is your choice if you want to make the picture winter themed or not! Draw as you see fit! Artistic freedom is the key to the best results!

If you fail to complete your gift by the deadline, you will be removed from the event and from any future events I plan to hold.
I will also block you. It's not right if you receive a gift, but give nothing in return.
(Unless there is a major emergency, and I mean major.)

If you do not receive your gift by the deadline, please note me and I'll attempt to contact your Santa. If I do not receive a reply from them, I will have one of my gift volunteers draw you something from your wishlist.

Gift volunteers will be my fallback plan if someone fails to follow through with their gift.
I'll accept anyone who wishes to help out.
I want to make it fair for everyone who is working on a gift for someone to receive something in return.

If you'd like to become a gift volunteer, please comment below or note me. Again, I will accept anyone who wishes to help.

Gift volunteers will be listed in this journal below.
(Anyone who offers to be a gift volunteer, will have their name added to a chibi raffle held by XMireille-chanX at a later date.)

is it really to late to join......i havent been on for a week and just saw all these secret santa things and everyone is closing them on the 24th Dx i really wanted to do one this year...
