Finally, the winners have been chosen! I'm so sorry for the long voting period. A lot of the judges became unavailable without notice. :/ All the entries were very lovely and cute and all did well to portray Mir. I wish I could give everyone something for their hard work, but I can give you my gratitude for taking the time to enter my first personal contest. So, now I'm happy to announce the winners of first, second, and third. ^^

I thank everyone who entered, this contest had a wonderful turn out and I'm so happy, being my first time holding a personal contest, it was a great first experience. I wanna thank everyone who helped get this contest going, all the donors, the judges, and of course the contestants.

I hope to hold another contest in the future and would love if you all returned. I'm sure the prizes to be won will be just as great and the entries just as wonderful. Thanks again!

I know everyone has been working on their entries tirelessly trying to make the deadline. I've extended it once, but it wouldn't hurt to extend it again. With my health and just getting out of the hospital myself, it might take me awhile to get everything processed right. So if anyone needs another extension, please let me know soon. As of right now the deadline is tomorrow, which I won't officially call it ended till the 26.

The deadline has been extended. A few people didn't have their entries ready yet and asked for an extension. So I've extended the deadline for 3 more days. So now the contest won't end till September 25. I'm sure the ones who already submitted pieces won't mind to wait, it's only 3 more days. I'm just trying to give everyone a fair shot, especially since school has started for a lot of people. Thanks for understanding. ^^

By request, I've added all the entries thus far to the bottom of the journal. I still have a folder where I'm keeping them all, but as I receive more, I'll post them in this journal.

It seems a lot of people aren't understanding that Mir's design cannot be changed. I've provided references of what she's allowed to wear, but her design has to stay the same, nothing can be changed about her. The whole objective of this contest is about who best captures her. So if you change her clothes, it doesn't feel like it's Mir to me at least. I'm sorry if this makes things hard for you guys, but it is MY contest and I'd like if people follow these small guidelines.

Okay, now to get down to the nitty gritty of the contest, the deadline, objective, rules, judges, and prizes.

:: DEADLINE ::
September 25 (Deadline possible to change.)

:: OBJECTIVE ::
To create art of any media of my Original character, Mireille-chan.

:: RULES ::
1.All entries will be placed in a folder, in my favorites labeled, "Mir-chan Fanart contest entries".
2.All art and skill are accepted. This contest is based off how well you capture Mir.
3.Content can be PG-13 or so, depending on the image it's self. It can be sexy and can contain nudity, but no sexual acts really.
4.Entries must relate to my OC, Mir. You can have Mir together with one of my other OCs, or with your own OC, but Mir has to be the main focus of the piece.
5.Only 1 entry per contestant. I want your best effort put into this!
6.Work must be ORIGINAL. No stolen or copied art! It will be removed, you will be banned from the contest, and will be reported to the admins.
7.Anyone is allowed to enter, even judges and prize donators.
8.When submitting an entry, make sure you state it is for this contest in your description somewhere. Then send me a link to your entry or post the link in this journal and I'll add it into the entries folder.
9.DO NOT change Mireille's design. I've provided plenty of references of what she can wear. Do not ask me if she can wear something else.
10.(Optional) - It would help out tremendously if anyone who wishes to enter/or those who don't to spread the word around about my contest, with either a journal, poll, etc. including a link to this journal. I would really appreciate it. Anyone who does advertise my contest, send me a link to where you've posted it and you'll be entered into a Chibi Raffle once this contest is over. So, you don't even have to participate in the contest and there is a chance you could win free art, from me~
